Fundamental by Rubini is an alien amongst it’s genre.
I am sometimes reminded of sweetened chalk dust and soap shavings. Imagine waking up in Tuscany on an autumn morning, stepping in a cold white bathroom with beautiful hand painted tiles. Through the open window, the morning cold air gently flows in at floor level and a big bunch of fresh lavender in a vase pulsates the velvety smell, enveloping you.
You can see the grapevine outside, as the golden light of the morning covers the hills. You wash your face with white foam from a lavender soap and dry your face with a soft, fluffly white towel. It smells of grapes and lavender. The cold tiles tickle your feet.
Autumn is settling in.
